Privacy Policy

In short

We store what a shop needs to work, we keep each store’s data separate, and we do not sell any of it.

Who this covers

This policy covers the Rqame platform and the people who use it: merchants who open a store, and staff a merchant invites. A shopper buying from a Rqame store deals with that merchant, and the merchant decides what happens to their data.

What we store

For a merchant account: your name, your email address and a hashed password — never the password itself. For a store: its name, address, language, currency, timezone, and everything you put into it. We also keep an audit record of administrative changes, so a merchant can see who changed what.

Why we store it

To run your store, to let you sign in, to bill your plan, and to answer you when something goes wrong. Nothing is stored for advertising, and nothing is sold or shared with an advertiser.

Separation between stores

Every record belongs to exactly one store. The platform refuses a request it cannot attribute to a store rather than falling back to a default, so one merchant cannot read another’s data.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Administrative sessions are isolated from store sessions. Access to a store’s data by the Rqame team is recorded.

How long we keep it

For as long as the store exists, and for a period afterwards so a closed store can be recovered if it was closed by mistake. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what we hold for your store.

Your choices

You can export your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your store. Marketing email is separate from the email your store needs to work, and you can opt out of it at any time without affecting your store.

Asking us about this

Write to the address on our contact page and say which store you mean.
